Gloria Iris Ortiz Obituary
Gloria Ortiz, 45, of Hamilton, NJ passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Gloria was born & raised in the Bronx, NY. She resided in Wharton, NJ for over 20 years before moving to Hamilton over a year and a half ago to live with her daughter. She graduated from Lehman College in the Bronx, NY with a Bachelor's Degree.
Gloria was very involved with the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She especially enjoyed taking care of her grandson Miles. Gloria is survived by her parents, Francisco and Mary (Medellin) Ortiz; her daughter and son-in-law, Nadia (Bentley) and Paul Leunig; her beloved grandson, Miles Leunig; her brother, Peter Ortiz; and many other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 130 Cable Ave., Beachwood, NJ 08722. Funeral arrangements and cremation are under the direction of the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. There will be no calling hours.
