James Joseph Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Joseph of Wharton, New Jersey, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Peoples and Marie Peoples (Butler). He is survived by: his wife Laura Lucille Peoples; his children, Laura Lynn Peoples (Steven Joseph DeSalvo), Leanne Marie Peoples, Elizabeth Marie Edwards (Clinton Lee) and James Michael Peoples (Allen Bruce Ellenzweig); his grandchildren, Courtney Anne Peoples, James Joseph Edwards (Alison Lorraine Devine) and Christopher Lee Edwards; his great grandchildren, Ruby James Edwards and Presley Marie; and also, Bella Rose Devine and Donald Robert Peoples.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament (787 Franklin Lake Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417).
