She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tafares-Lawrence and Eulalia Belgrave Valenzuela of Tafares; and her sister Carol Tafares Belgrave. She is survived by: her sister Patricia; her cousins, Kristine Bendsen Beirne (Thomas P. Beirne) of Wharton, NJ., John Butler (Andrea), David Butler (Lauren) and Sara Butler Zalesky (Eric); her sons, Quinten and Cavan of Wharton, NJ; her grandchildren, Tyler and Amber of West Milford, NJ; Eliana.
She volunteered in the St. Mary's Food Pantry along with her sister and they devoted many hours to Birthright in Dover, assisting Mothers in need and their bilingual skills were an important contribution to those services.
