He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gallagher and Elizabeth Cashen; and his wife Dorothy. He is survived by: his son Patrick (Mary Ryan) of Wharton; his grandchildren, Nathaniel of Wharton, Kara Tierney Smith of Stanhope, NJ and Mary Tierney Mania of Stanhope, NJ; his great grandchildren, Michael of Stanhope, Kendra of Stanhope and Angelo of Stanhope; his cousin Donegal; his son Paul; his siblings, Betty Carleton, Jack, Walt, Sally Quinlan and Rosemary Vilade; Michele Szell of Stanhope. He is also survived by twenty-four nieces and nephews.
