He was predeceased by: his wife Jewel Carol; his son James John; and his sisters, Shirley Matthews and Joan Carillo. He is survived by: his children, Judith Ann Meyncke and Christopher Sherman; his granddaughter Jacqueline T. Neugue (Florian); and his great grandchildren, Augustẻ and Apolline.
