She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert F. Velasco and Florence Velasco; her siblings, Robert D. Velasco and Carol A. Schmidt; and her brother-in-law Dennis Schmidt of Orlando, Florida..

She is survived by : her sons, Thomas W. Halm, Jr. and Daniel R. Halm; her caregiver Serena A. Halm; her granddaughters, Vivienne M. Halm, Alexandra F. Halm and Catherine G. Halm; her sister-in-law Maria Velasco; and her nieces, Dana Velasco, Sharon Brown and Nicole Swaboda. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins.
