He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Buckie; and his brothers, Bobby and Tommy. He is survived by: his wife Annemarie; his daughters, Jocelyn and Meridith; and his brothers, Michael and Barry.

“Richie was one of my best friends from childhood to teenage years to adults. Like the "red man" (Jimmy) said, "we were a brotherhood." Playing in bands, antics, constant laughs, and going on a road trip to Florida with me, Barry, Richie and our daughters. Hanging out with Richie, Barry, Phil, Jimmy and Pedro was always the best.
