We bid farewell to Gerald W. McCann of Whiting, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 25, 2025 at the age of 78. Gerald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Gerald departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gerald. Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Clayre B. McCann; and his siblings, Judith Pagano (Ronald), Cynthia Rich (Allen) and Robert McCann.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home (28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting, NJ 08759). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church (30 Schoolhouse Rd, Manchester Township, NJ 08759).
