He is survived by: his mother Leona Applegate; his children, Justin Applegate (Chelsea), Scott Applegate (Holly), Matthew Applegate (Kayla) and Harla Mellen (Dustin); his grandchildren, Austin Mellen, Addison Applegate, Bentley Applegate and Dallas Applegate; and his sister Kathleen Rynczak (Donna Applegate).
