He was predeceased by : his parent Karolina; and his siblings, Ann, Jean, Stanley and Frank.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Zator; his children, Lawrence (Annette) of Monroe, GA, John Jr. (Diane) of Lido Beach, NY and Kristina Vitale (late Robert) of Mechanicsburg, PA; his grandchildren, Michael, Christopher, Lawrence Jr., Elizabeth, John, Katie, Sheree, Joseph and Robert; and his great grandchildren, Breanna, Makenna and Brooks.
