The family announces the passing of John P. Coley of Whiting, New Jersey on September 19, 2026. John, born on December 30, 1935 in Trenton, New Jersey, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Selina Coley and Charles Coley; his siblings, Charles Jr., Ruth Coggins, Florence Brodowicz and Ann Walters; and his wife Carol Coley.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly (William Maxwell), Virginia (Peter Jozwik), James Connelly, Jr., Anne (Bruce Kriegner) and Martha (Neil Wesley). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saul Colonial Home (3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jack's memory to Serenity Hospice or Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Brown Mills NJ.
