He was predeceased by : his parents, Angela D'Ascanio and Antonio D'Ascanio; and his siblings, Amedeo, Pasquale, Palmerino and Irma.

He is survived by : his wife Paola Migliore D'Ascanio; his daughters, Gabriella (Flaviu Ciocoiu) of Weddington, NC and Susan (Marco Budinich) of Manahawkin, NJ; his grandson Christian Ciocoiu of Weddington, NC; his siblings, Flavia DeSanctis of Fort Myers, FL, Fernanda Silla of Woodbridge, Ontario, Amedea (Renzo Piron) of Woodbridge and Ottavio (Anna D'Ascanio) of Maple; and his sister-in-law Margherita D'Ascanio of Marathon, FL. He is also survived by brothers-in-law on his wife's side and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
