He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Franklin Winans and Helen Winans; his wife Sharon S. Winans; his children, Jamey, Jon and Michelle Winans; his brothers, Ben Winans and Carl Winans; Terry Heidner.
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth A. "Beth" Israels; his grandchildren, Gregory Kousoulis, Lauren Kousoulis and Brandon Israels; his great grandchildren, Isabel and Isaiah; and his siblings, Rev. Donald Winans (Lola), Rachel Winans, Raymond Winans and Madge Freeman (Mark Freeman). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farnelli Funeral Home (504 N Main St, Williamstown, NJ 08094). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the youth programs at Cross Keys United Methodist Church, 1644 N. Main Street, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
