He is survived by: his wife Ellen McCool; his children, Dennis McCool Jr. (Christine), Tim McCool and Kimberly McCool Brokaw; his grandchildren, Victoria Mathews, Elizabeth McCool, Sophia Brokaw, Colin McCool and Iain McCool; his sister Nancy McCool; and his sisters-in-law, Sheila McCool and Joan Groves. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
