He was predeceased by: his son Eusabio Ortiz; and his siblings, Blanca L. Luckenbaugh, Julia Velez (Ruiz), Rosa Velez (Ruiz), Dima Convery, Luz DeLeon and Angelo Velez (Ruiz).
He is survived by: his wife Annie; and his children, Carmen Caban (Confesor), Edward Ruiz, Jr. (Linda), Richard Ruiz (Patty), Robert Ruiz (Debbie Arsenault), Catherine Eskew (Joe Kelly), Joseph Ruiz (Lynn) and Nemesia Pedersen (Phil Anselmo).
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home (420 S Main St, Williamstown, NJ 08094). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
