George R. Schoener Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2025, at the age of 72, George R. Schoener of Williamstown, New Jersey, born in Palmyra, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact George had on those he encountered along his journey. Though George may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Burd and Helen. He is survived by: his wife Schoener of Williamstown, NJ; his son Dennis Schoener; his stepsons, Luis A. Cotto of Williamstown, NJ and Eric Reed; his brother Burd Schoener [Lynn]; his former wife Shelley Reed; and his close friend Tommy Reed. He is also survived by in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weber Funeral Home (112 Broad St, Riverton, NJ 08077). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
