He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Lafferty and Theodosia Lafferty; his son John F. Lafferty Jr.; and his siblings, Agnes Stewart, Catherine DiPietro, Frances Grimley, Elizabeth Kerrigan, Eileen Griffin and Daniel Lafferty.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Lafferty, Mark Lafferty (Shannon Langran-Lafferty), Kathleen Lafferty (Kathleen Shanahan) and Paul Lafferty (Tara Matthews-Lafferty); his sisters, Mary Ann Wames (John) and Peggy Schwanda (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Merri Lafferty and Mickey Griffin; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Owen, Emma, Lily of John Paul and Brielle. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
