He is survived by: his children, John C. (Lorraine), Evelyn Gerding and Elizabeth McTague (Michael); his grandchildren, Cynthia Staab (Stephen), Jennifer Gerding, Melissa Schaffer (Scott), Andrew McConnell and Matthew McTague (Jaclyn); and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Sophia, Samuel, Stella and Veronica.
