It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph M. Smart of Williamstown, New Jersey, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Anna; and his brother John Smart (Toni). He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Christopher Smart (Alisha), Brian Smart (Megan), Ashley Campbell (Colin) and Anthony Mancini; his siblings, James Smart (Robyn), Maryann Smart, Michael Smart (Elena), Anna Marie Mills (Thomas), Andrew Smart and Bernadette Westcott (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Calista, Damian and Sloane.
Viewing will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home (420 S Main St, Williamstown, NJ 08094). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's R. C. Church (32 Carroll Ave, Williamstown, NJ 08094). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
