He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Anne P. Santiago; and his brothers, Felix Santiago and Cesar Santiago. He is survived by: his son Maximillian A. Santiago Sr. (Nathalie L. Marchand); his sister Maria Mercado; his grandchildren, Maximillian A. Santiago Jr. and Isabella A. Santiago; and also Mary T. Whitman.

His contributions to his family will remain his legacy.
