He is survived by: his children, Michelle Young (Richard), James Mellon, Jr. and Michael Mellon (Cathy); his sister Nancy Cahill; his grandchildren, Jamie, Samantha, Richard, Daniel, James and Danielle; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Madison.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home (420 S Main St, Williamstown, NJ 08094).
