He was predeceased by: his parents, Kevin E. Moran and Anne Fanning Moran. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Pyle Moran; his son Russell Moran; and his siblings, Tom Moran, Julie Medearis (Terry), Sheila Moran, Kevin A. Moran (Lindsey), Ryan Moran (Jennifer) and Laura Pearson (Christopher). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church (503 N Main St, Belmont, NC 28012).
