He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joseph Murphy and Jack Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Murphy; his children, Robert B. Murphy, Jr. (Mari), Kellie Reilly (Ted) and Jessica Chambers (Michael); his grandchildren, Bryan, Sean, Robert, Shane, Abby and Emma; his great grandchildren, Riley, Aoife, Lakelyn, Zoe and Finn; and his siblings, Michael Murphy (Donna) and Kate Murphy. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (176 Stagecoach Rd, Erial, NJ 08080). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
