He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Kunkle; and his parents, Ann Kunkle and John Kunkle. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Kunkle; and his sons, Robert Kunkle and Patrick Kunkle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
