Sandra leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sandra will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Douglas and Blanche Douglas. She is survived by: her son David Wassenar; her sisters, Clarissa Monkton (Dennis) and Linda Douglas (Gary); and her nieces, Kristin and Alyssa.

Before the pandemic, she volunteered at St. John's, dedicating her time to work with children.
