She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexandrina Ghencea (Popescu) and Florea Ghencea; her husband Gheorghe; and her sister Petra Matache. She is survived by: her daughters, Claudia (Nicu Cazan) of Florida and Carmen (Adrian Dumitrescu) of Sicklerville; her grandchildren, Iulia (Jon Zazula), Brandon Christopher Cazan, Ana May and Luca Alexander Dumitrescu; her brother Dumitru (Stefania Matache) of Queens; and her close friend Katy Jaca. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren.
