With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Algretta J Rushdan of Willingboro, New Jersey, born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on October 3, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Samuel Wilson and Rosa Wilson; her husband Kenneth Rushdan; her children, Sylvia Rushdan-Browne of Staten Island, NY, Derrick Rushdan (Mary) of Bowie, MD, Monica Rushdan of Hamilton, NJ and Jibril Rushdan (Isis) of Haymarket, VA.; her grandchildren, Cashé Jones, Shannon Browne, Steven Browne, Niya Menefee, Kiana Rushdan, Marcus Fortune, Miles Fortune, Kiaros Rushdan and Athena Rushdan; and her siblings, Roberta Turner of New Haven, CT, Vernon Wilson (Sandy) of New Haven, CT, Margaret Benjamin (Charles) of Chicago, IL, Angela Wilson of Georgetown, SC, Will Wilson (Audrey) of Simpsonville, SC and David Wilson (Gwendolyn) of Lithonia, GA. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and lifetime friends.

Cremation will occur at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden (due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at Harleigh is limited to the immediate family).
