With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brenda Maxwell of Willingboro, New Jersey, born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Rockwell Maxwell and Essie Lee Maxwell; and her siblings, Bennie Goodman, Jeannette Murray, Franklin D. Nelson, David Tyrone Nelson and Rockwell Maxwell, Jr..

She is survived by : her sisters, Joan Maxwell, Carolyn Maxwell and Velma Renna Richardson; her brother-in-law Ralph (Audrey R. Maxwell); and her nephews, Eric Maxwell, Brendan Maxwell and Maurice Maxwell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Episcopal Church (178 Rector St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08831-8759).
