He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bernard and Effeginia Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Jannette Bernard; his children, Andrea and Segun Bernard; his grandson Ronald Dunton II; his great grandchild Taryn Rose Dunton; his sisters, Elizabeth Braham (Junior) and Elaine Edwards (Lee); his siblings-in-law, Vincent Kelly, Albert Kelly, Aston Kelly (Carol) and Jacqueline Kelly; his nephew Andrew Stone; and his nieces, Alisa Kelly and Janice Stone.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (150 E 2nd St, Burlington, NJ 08016). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
