He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Selig and Nora Jacqueline Vogel. He is survived by: his devoted Okinawan (Nobu Uezu Vogel); his daughter Lydia Leporte (Gary Noah); his grandchildren, Jessica of Chesapeake, Jake of Chesapeake and Jennifer Leporte of Chesapeake; and his nibling Maren Gilbert (Frank).
