She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Jurewicz and Mary Jurewicz. She is survived by : her husband William; her daughter Mary; her son-in-law Alfred Bossio; her sons, Leonard and Paul; her daughter-in-law Dinara; her grandchildren, Daniel, Diana, Brittney, Garrik and Alan; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Wesley and Seth.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rita's name may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
