He is survived by: his wife Mary "Joyce" Scharff; his children, Stephanie Dillon (Patrick), Jacqueline Pinto (Michael), John Scharff (Andrea), Kimberly Brodbeck (Sonny) and Christina Kalani (Paul); and his grandchildren, Nicole Veliz (David), Madison Pisano (Matthew), Sean Dillon, Ryan Dillon, Jake Brodbeck, Danielle Pinto, Casey Scharff, Cayla Kalani and Paul Kalani.
