He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Burniston and Herbert Burniston; his wife Christina E. Burniston; his brother Richard Burniston; and his grandson Matthew Margiotta.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Margiotta (Paul), Thomas Burniston (Debra) and William Burniston (Denise); his grandchildren, Stacy Margiotta, Daniel Burniston, Brianna Burniston, Joseph Burniston, Kimberly Burniston and Thomas Burniston; and his caregiver Ellen Dabamkah.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costa Memorial (170 Central Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:30 AM. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery (742 Rutherford Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, Tomorrows Children's Fund or to your favorite charity in memory of Herbert G. Burniston would be appreciated.
