He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Chris (Brenda Blum) of Wood-Ridge and Michael (Ericka Ravettine) of Franklin Lakes; his grandchildren, Cooper, Hudson and Finley; his wife Marilyn; his brother Rev. Msgr; and his parents, Edward Eilert and Helen Eilert (Cwik).
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kohler Funeral Home (280 Hackensack St, Wood-Ridge, NJ 07075). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (127 Paterson Ave, Wallington, NJ 07057).
