Akhtar Javed Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2025, at the age of 73, Akhtar Javed of Woodbridge, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Akhtar had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Akhtar may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his son Solomon Javed; and his sisters, Parveen Akram and Nasreen Babar. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Malik (Imran Malik) of Woodbridge and Sharoon Javed (Zaib Sharoon) of Iselin; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Janiah, Sheryl, Ezekiel and Hadriel.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Iselin (1295 Oak Tree Rd, Iselin, NJ 08830). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Clover Leaf Memorial Park Cemetery.
