He is survived by: his wife Edna Reodica Patenia; his children, Susan Shattuck (Phillip), Shirley Wisk (Stephen), Sheila Patenia and Benjamin Patenia, Jr. (Hwaryeo); his grandchildren, Sean, Sara, Madeline and Dominic; and his brothers, Arturo Patenia, Jose Patenia and Jaime Patenia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 8:45 AM to 9:15 AM at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (44 Green St, Woodbridge, NJ 07095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (436 Port Reading Ave, Port Reading, NJ 07064).
