He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid Nest and Marie Van Nest; and his wife June Van Nest. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary J. Bath of Woodbridge, NJ and Susan M. Van Nest of Shenandoah, PA; and his siblings, Veronica Greener of Millsboro, DE, Robert (Priscila Hoarle) and Richard (Marie Hoarle). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Joseph may be made to East Orange Veteran Medical Center, 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018.
