She is survived by: her husband Tomas Matos Oquendo; her children, Robert Oquendo of Camden, Ray Oquendo of Somerset, Idalis Oquendo-Tatis of Keasbey, Edwin Oquendo of Woodbridge and Tommy Oquendo; her grandchildren, Yecenia, Marta, Isabel, Emilio, Christina, Amanda, Edwin Jr. and Tommy Jr.; and her great grandchild Elijah.
