We announce the death of Walter F. Uveges of Woodbridge, New Jersey, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Uveges and Irene Uveges; his brothers, Robert and George Uveges (Mary Ann); and his grandson Jonathan.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Marczi, Karen Matye and Walter Uveges (Bud); his siblings, Irene Uveges (Gloria), Julie Kopko (Cookie), Kenny and Dennis; his grandson Matthew; and his great grandchild Jonathan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home (419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Hungarian Reform Church (331 Kirkland Pl, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Calvary Cemetery (880 Florida Grove Rd, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861).
