He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his children, Gerald E. (Jennifer), Sherri (Robert) and Julie; his stepson Michael; his granddaughters, Madailein and Emerson; and his brother Dennis (Karen).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the MPS Society in honor of Jerry and his daughter, Julie, who suffers from MPS III-A, also known as Sanfilippo syndrome.
