She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur A. Thomas and Myrtle Thomas (Woodland); her husband Raymond J. Newlin Sr.; her sons, Nathaniel Newlin (Patricia) and Eugene Newlin (Tina); and her grandson Shawn Newlin (Laura).

She is survived by: her children, Ruth Needy, Raymond Jr. (Barbara) and Mae Wagner, Jr. (Wayne); her grandchildren, Isaac, Joshua Thomas (Caroline), Alisha (Richard), Elizabeth (Matthew), Melissa (Johnathan), Raymond III (Dorcas), Matthew (Patricia), Emily, Benjamin (Catherine), Nathaniel, Shala, Barbara Grace, Michelle (Charles), Shannon, Thomas, Ciera (Jacob) and Bryce; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jessica, Anna, Henry, Andrew, Luke, Hannah, Neveah, Johnathan, Elliana, Chloe, Braelyn, Treyton, Skyler, Opal, Cameron (Nitza), Kyle, Jonathan and Abigail.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the CrossPoint Wesleyan Church (333 Georgetown Rd, Carneys Point, NJ 08069).
