He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard O'Mara and Rose O'Mara; his brothers, Bernie and Jimmy; and his wife Theresa O'Mara.

He is survived by : his children, Rosemarie (Reggie Griggs), Christine O'Mara, Bernadette (Patrick Nolan), Brian (Katie O'Mara), Thomas (Mary O'Mara) and Sean O'Mara (Joanna Vrancart); and his grandchildren, Samantha, Kelli, Katie, Maggie, Alyson, Emily, Ryan, Delaney, Abby, Owen, Liam, Bryn, Colin and Rylee.
