She was predeceased by: her parents, David Reese "Doc" Safford and Gladys "Dolly" Septor Safford; her sisters, Joan Safford Hayes and Doris "Dottie" Safford Budd; and her sibling-in-law Babe Magee.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Edwards; her children, Gary Magee Manchester (Beth), Dale Sykesville, MD (Sally), Diane Harvey of Whiting, Jan Wickham (Kenny) of Whiting and Jill Lewis (Tom) of Whiting; and her grandchildren, Patrick, Kary, Troy, Steven, Shannon, Corey, Kelley, Vicky, Nicole, Megan and Kathyrn. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
