He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen James and Anna Zavacky; his brother William; and his wife Alice Zavacky. He is survived by: his sons, James (Mary), David (Jennifer) and Steven (Winifred); his grandchildren, Patrick (Catherine), Sean, Steven and Alicia; his great grandchildren, Zoey and Leah; and his sister Ann Tobias.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home (52 Main St, New Egypt, NJ 08533). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
