Bernard Campbell Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Bernard Campbell Jr. of Wyckoff, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen; his parents, Bernard Sr. Campbell and Roseanne "Rose" Campbell; his brother Thomas "Tommy" Campbell; his cousin Bernard "Scotty" Wallace; and his in-laws, Donald "Dan" and Catherine O'Leary.
He is survived by: his children, Suzanne O'Rahilly, Donald (Eileen), Bernard "Bernie" III (Caroline "Carrie) and Kathleen (Jean DerSimonian); and his grandchildren, Kathleen "Katie" (Matthew Flynn), Christina "Tina" O'Rahilly, Daniel (Hannale), Christopher (Sierra), Fallon, Andrew, Caitlin Campbell, Dylan and Ciara DerSimonian.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth RC Church (700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Bernie's memory to support fellow veterans through: American Legion Post 0774 3035 Corlear Avenue Bronx, NY 10463.
