He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his parents, Carlos and Justina; and his siblings, Thomas Burgos, Ricki Burgos and Olga Pellagatti.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Romero Jr. (Karen) of Rockaway, NJ, Karyn Paccione (John) of Smithville, NJ and Steven Romero of Rutherford, NJ.; and his grandchildren, John, Michael Paccione, Elaina and Mikaela Romero.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity (315 Prospect St, Midland Park, NJ 07432). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Christ the King Cemetery (980 Huron Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417).
