She was predeceased by: her husband Hans Herman Sammer; her son Hans Henry Sammer; her parents, Georg Schulze and Elisabeth Schulze; and her siblings, Heinz Schulze and Erika Schrage.
She is survived by: her children, Dina Simonetti (Steve) of Wayne, NJ and Peter Sammer (Tara) of Fishkill, NY; her daughter-in-law Wendy Widmer Sammer of Cary, NC.; her siblings' children, Dylan, Tyler, Ashley, Steven, Lindsay and Alexa; and her brothers, Henry Schulze of Sound Beach, NY and Wilhelm Schulze of Germany.
