She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Fridsma and Bertha Fridsma; her parents-in-law, Ed and Ida Van Heemst (Bernie); her siblings, Nick Fridsma (JoAnn), Gerard Fridsma and Carol Zuidema (Richard); her siblings-in-law, Donald Van Heemst (Bertha) and Julia Van Heemst; and her grandson Jeremy Van Heemst.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Van Heemst (Nancy) of Wappingers Falls, NY and Gay Kramm (Bob) of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Nicholas Van Heemst (Abby), Joel Van Heemst (Hannah), Kym Egan (Matt), Bobby Kramm (Tina), Michael Kramm (Rachael-Anne) and Jeff Kramm (Megan); her brothers, Ken Fridsma (Irene) and John Fridsma (Ruth); and her siblings-in-law, Joan Houskamp and Henry Van Heemst. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
