Richard Canova Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Canova of Wyckoff, New Jersey, born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Canova to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marino Canova and Rose Canova (Sudol); his brother Robert; his aunt Nora Sudol; and his daughter Betsy Leigh Canova.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his son Michael (Barbara); his grandsons, Michael S. Canova and Nicholas S. Canova (Michele); and his great grandchild Nicole Marie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth RC Church (700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Valleau Cemetery (546 Franklin Turnpike, Ridgewood, NJ 07450).
