Rita Giuffre Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Valorosa and Rocco Valorosa; her husband Dr. Carmelo Giuffre; her sister Anne Powell; and her pet Ginny.

She is survived by: her cousin Halloween; her children, Dr. Kenneth Giuffre (Marielle), Dr. Michele Giuffre-Shore (Ronald), John Giuffre and Michael Giuffre; her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Grant), Aaron, Jennifer, John (Mary), Joseph, Lisa, Matthew and Marc; and her great grandchild Elliette. She is also survived by her niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth RC Church (700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). An entombment will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
